These lenses are precision-fabricated from premium borosilicate glass, a material engineered for extreme environments.

  • Superior High Temperature & Thermal Shock Resistance: Borosilicate glass possesses an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE ~3.3 x 10⁻⁶/K). This allows it to withstand the intense, sustained heat generated by high-lumen COB LEDs (often exceeding 150°C junction temperatures) without softening, deforming, cracking, or yellowing, ensuring stable performance over the vehicle's lifetime.

  • Precision Aspheric Optical Design: The lens features a meticulously calculated non-spherical (aspheric) curvature. This design eliminates spherical aberration inherent in simple spherical lenses, enabling a single optical element to efficiently collimate the broad, lambertian emission of a COB LED into a sharp, well-defined beam pattern with high efficiency and minimal optical waste.

  • High Optical Transmission & Durability: Provides excellent light transmission (>92% in the visible spectrum) and is inherently scratch-resistant and chemically inert.
